Watch Our Video

Hello from Washington State! We are light-hearted, driven, travel-loving high school sweethearts. When we decided that we wanted to start having children, we felt that God put adoption in our path. We are over the moon about expanding our family and are overjoyed at the possibility of getting to know you!

About Us

As told by Juliana...
Cody and I met when we were both working as lifeguards! Cody made the first move by delivering flowers to my school locker. Now we’ve been together for 8 years! We have gone through many milestones together like graduating college, our wedding, achieving goals in our jobs, and now starting a family. We’re excited about becoming first-time parents!

Things we love to do together:
• Travel, learn about new cultures, and experience all the world has to offer
• Spend time outdoors at the beach or walking our dog
• Try new restaurants near us or when we are traveling

About Juliana

I work as an emergency room nurse. I do everything from delivering babies to helping with urgent health needs. It has taught me how to deal with high-stress situations and made me a better person. I love the fast-paced excitement of my work and being able to help people.

What Cody loves about Juliana: It sounds cliché, but the moment I met Juliana, I knew she was the one. I still get butterflies around her. She is nurturing, always putting others first, and incredible with our little cousins (who we call our nieces and nephews). To Juliana, the simple things, like just being with those she loves, are what’s important. I know she will be the best hands-on mom!

About Cody

I enjoy real estate investing, flipping houses, and interior design. Whether it be a whole house, a room, or a piece of furniture, I love making spaces beautiful. I’m always looking for my next project and I’ve already been dreaming up ideas for a playhouse to build in our yard!

What Juliana loves about Cody: Cody is loving, kind, and passionate. He has a contagious smile and it brightens up any room he walks in to. I could not have asked for a better husband! He is so supportive and is always by my side. I can’t wait to watch Cody grow into an amazing father.

Our Home in Washington

Friends say our home feels warm and welcoming. Our house is a 1916 farmhouse that we completely renovated together. We have a nursery near our bedroom and a playroom in the basement. Outside we love gardening, growing flowers and produce. There are hiking trails we enjoy often, which run right next to our back yard. We have a large yard that we'd love to add a playground or trampoline to one day.

Our town is quaint and charming with parks, beaches, a ferry, and restaurants just a short walk away from our home. When we go on walks, everyone says ‘hi’ and even seem to remember each other’s dogs’ names. A short drive away is a large city full of museums, a zoo, and much more!

Our Family

We have an awesome big family! Our parents, siblings, and extended family all live nearby. There are 16 nieces and nephews in our family, all within an hour from us. We love attending their soccer and t-ball games! Our family has the best time celebrating all the birthdays, relaxing around the fire, walking to the beach, and hosting football parties. Holidays are extra fun together, with all the traditions we share as a big family. Our family is a ‘more the merrier’ type and everyone who comes into our group is instant family. Everyone is excited to welcome the child we adopt!

Our parents have offered to watch our children when we have to work, and everyone is excited about our plans to adopt. Cody's parents just moved to a house a block away too! We can walk to their house and watch the ferries dock and whales swim by, right from their deck.

We want to thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We are humbled to be considered as a family for your child, and hope that you feel supported and loved throughout your journey.

More About Our Family

Our Dogs

We have 2 dogs, Boomer and Brody. Boomer is our laid-back Goldendoodle; Brody is a loving Golden Retriever. They've spent so much time around kids and are great with little ones. We love to take our dogs with us to explore! We know they'll be great companions to the child who joins our family.

Our Values

Family: We have a huge family who we are extremely close to, as well as lots of friends we consider family. We will teach your child to cherish, love, and support those relationships around them.

Faith: We will share with your child how unconditionally loved they are. We want him or her to know that God is always there for them and that they can always lean on their faith.

Education: We live in one of the best school districts in the state and will make sure your child gets the support they need to learn and develop their strengths and goals.

Family traditions we love:

• Family Christmas in July, during which we go to the lake, water ski, have water balloon fights and spend time together
• The Saturday before Christmas we have a party where we decorate cookies and play the White Elephant gift game
• Easter weekend we dye eggs at the grandparent’s house with all the grandkids
• For Thanksgiving we compete in a Turkey Bowl football game with both sides of our families
• We take a yearly trip to Ocean Shores with Cody’s family to relax and swim
