Hello! We are Jacob & Nikki!
We have wanted to be first-time parents and grow our family for a long time, and after experiencing infertility and pregnancy loss, we feel that God has placed us on the path of adoption! We truly feel that God has a plan for us as parents, and we are just waiting on His perfect timing. We are thrilled and grateful to be on this journey, and we cannot wait to share our lives with your child! We both deeply value family, quality time, hard work, education, faith, and love. We look forward to building a lasting relationship with you on whatever level you are comfortable with, and we pray for you constantly!
Our Story
From the moment we first met, we knew there was something special about our relationship. We bonded over our love of Jesus, sports, traveling, and fried mozzarella sticks! We have been inseparable ever since our first date, and we truly could not live life without the other. We continually try to pour into our marriage and learn more about each other, as well as grow in our faith together.
Jacob is grounded and calm, while Nikki is bubbly and outgoing! Our weekends are spent countless ways- on a weekend trip to anywhere, at a sporting event, or simply relaxing on the couch with a good movie and enjoying the day! Any time that we get to spend with family & friends is time well spent to us. We also love going to the beach or taking trips to the zoo/aquarium, and this is something we look forward to sharing with our child one day!
My Wife Nikki
Nikki is charismatic, loving, and hard-working. She has so much love to give, and her heart is one of my favorite things about her! Nikki loves spending time with her family or friends and is ALL about a good nap session with our dog, Talon! She works as a radiology technologist doing ultrasounds and x-rays and genuinely loves her job. When she is not working, she can be found in her parent’s pool, over at friends’ houses playing with their kids, or binging a new show on Netflix. She loves ordering from Amazon and says getting packages is like having Christmas year-round!
She has such a great motherly instinct and is so good around kids! Nikki is so excited about becoming a mother and reading to our child every day. Her eyes light up with a smile that lights up the room every time she talks about “our one-day baby.”
My Husband Jacob
Jacob is thoughtful, caring, and so laid back! He has a true heart of gold and is always ready to go on whatever adventure we have come up with. He is incredibly patient and has a such calm energy that makes it so easy to be around him.
Jacob is a Television Production Supervisor at a local sports broadcasting agency, which is a fancy way of saying he makes sure your sporting event looks good for tv. In his free time, he is a hard-working freelance wedding videographer and loves being behind the camera to show his creative side. He is so talented, y’all! When he isn’t behind a camera, you can catch him outside grilling, doing yard work, or hanging out with Talon on the couch, catching up on sporting events. He has a deep love for Mississippi State athletics, and I know he is excited to bring our child to all of the games!
Our Home in Mississippi
Our 4-bedroom brick home is spacious and has so much room for our child to grow and play! We have a large fenced-in backyard that is perfect for outdoor get-togethers with friends and family. Our sweet dog, Talon, loves kids, and we know he will be a great playmate for our child as they grow! We have an open floor plan with a living room that is perfect for family movie nights and a large kitchen table that can fit all of our family around. We also have baby’s nursery fully furnished and just waiting for the final touches of personalization.
Our neighborhood is diverse, family-friendly, and located in a great school district! We have family and close friends living just a few houses down, both with children eagerly awaiting a new partner in crime!
Our Family
We both have a very close-knit family and are so thankful to have support on both sides during this adoption journey! We are so blessed with such a strong immediate family and large extended family, all of whom are so excited to welcome a baby into the mix. Both sets of grandparents are eager to welcome the FIRST grandchild, so there will be no shortage of love and spoiling!
Having our families and siblings living close by is such a blessing! We have family dinners often and try to hang out with them as much as we can – whether that be with game nights, TopGolf, trips to baseball games, anything! Our parents and siblings are constant avenues of support, and we pray that the same can be said one day about us by your child.
Our Promise
We promise to raise your child in a Godly, loving home with all the unconditional love, support, and encouragement. Our home will be a stable, peaceful, and safe place where your child can grow. We will maintain whatever level of communication that you are comfortable with for your child, which could include letters, photos, and visits.
We also promise to be the loudest cheer section and constant support throughout their life. We will attend all of the sporting events, dance recitals, debates – whatever it is that your child is passionate about! We promise to raise them to never give up and always keep their faith. We promise to provide education and new experiences so that your child can grow into the person he or she is meant to be. And most importantly, we promise to love your child without limits and to encourage him or her to love others as He first loved us.

| Our Family Traditions | - Each year at Christmas, we pick a new place to travel and look at Christmas lights! This is easily our favorite tradition and one we plan on continuing with our child. So far, we have visited the Memphis Zoo lights (where we also got engaged) and the Botanical Gardens in Atlanta. | |
| Our Pet | We have the sweetest doggo, Talon, who thinks he is a lap dog despite his large size! He is an 8-year-old Weimaraner who loves to roam around our big fenced-in backyard. He has been Nikki’s original baby since he was 1 year old and just a puppy. He is so gentle around children and loves ALL the cuddles and attention! He may look intimidating and big, but he's a total gentle giant. He currently takes toys into the nursery randomly and leaves them there- he clearly can't wait to share all of his toys with his new little friend! We told you he was the sweetest! | |
| Our Faith | Our faith is a big part of who we are, and it has definitely taken a lot of faith to be on this journey! We strive to be better every day and pray that our child will grow with the same faith-based values that we have. We are both active members of a Christian church that we absolutely adore. It's a small but mighty congregation, and they are so very excited to help us welcome our baby home. | |
| Why Adoption? | We talked about the possibility of adoption early on in our relationship, even before trying to get pregnant. After we experienced fertility issues followed by multiple pregnancy losses, we knew that adoption was the path God had chosen for us. As soon as we made the decision to pursue adoption, it was like a weight was lifted off of our shoulders, and God told us we were exactly where we were supposed to be! We both have a strong faith that God has a plan for us as parents, and we have so much love in our hearts to give to a child. | |
